Hey Guys!
I am back with an interesting post. Today I will tell you how to backup and copy complete firefox data from one computer to another. For people who dont use extensions/add-ons/bookmarks etc, it doesnt matter much. But for Geeks like us, its a very serious matter about the browser data. For example, if we need to reinstall the operating system, then all the application data is lost.
So... Lets begin......
Step 1: Press Window key + R. It will open Run window as shown.
Step 2: Type "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\" (without the quotation marks) and press Enter.
Step 3: A new window will open and it will open the profile folder of firefox, The folder name contains eight characters and ends with ".default". Copy this folder to a Pen drive or any storage device you like.
Step 4: Now Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 on the computer in which you want to copy the browser data.(Close the Firefox if opened.)There also, you will find a folder ending with ".default". Open it.
Step 5: Now plug in the Pen drive and copy the all the data of that folder and paste it to the firefox profile folder in your PC. It will ask you to Replace or Overwrite the files. Select Yes to all. After it is finished, Open Firefox Browser and you will find all your data restored. :D
